Training the Online Trainers
(Self-paced program)

Program Overview

​

The COVID-19 pandemic has disrupted business operations. Some of the business operations shifted from face-to-face to online delivery. Cashless transactions, the use of process automation, and the hybrid working arrangement were popularized as a result of this disruption. 

 

Another business process that worked during the lockdowns was the shift from face-to-face training to online training delivery. Because of the limitation of face-to-face training, companies shifted from traditional face-to-face to online methodology. But today, while some companies are returning to face-to-face training, other companies retained their implementation of online training delivery. 

 

According to the 2022 study conducted by the Philippine Society for Talent Development. The respondents noted that the biggest challenges in implementing training solutions are the following: 

 

  • Getting people engaged in remote learning 80%

  • Technology /ramping up remote learning 70%

  • Assessments and evaluating proof of the effectiveness of remote learning 58%

  • Converting content to digital format 56%

  • Lack of resources/training personnel 43%

  • Data Security 26%

  • Getting the buy-in of management on remote learning 20%

 

With these problems, Learning Innovation Hub PH developed a self-paced program for online trainers to address these challenges. The training program focuses on identifying the needs of participants, designing online training programs, developing program content using different tools, engaging participants thru different online methodologies, and evaluating the effectiveness of training programs. 

 

The self-paced training program will also showcase different online tools (both free and paid) that a trainer could use in conducting their program.
